Essie Mint Candy Apple + OPI Happy Anniversary!

Miksi, miksi, miksi kuvat eivät tee mitään oikeutta tälle lakkaukselle. Lakkasin viime torstaina(!) kynteni Essien Mint Candy Applella, jonka päälle laitoin pari kerrosta OPIn Happy Anniversary! lakkaa. Jos olisin ollut vielä fiksumpi, olisin ehkä koittanut GOSHin Rainbowta tähän päälle ja saanut aikaan jotain yhtä nättiä kuin näissä blogeissa, mutta aina on helppoa olla jälkiviisas. Pidän kyllä omasta manikyyristänikin hurjasti, sillä auringossa tämä saavuttaa samanlaisen foil-tyyppisen pinnan kuin mitä Orlyn Foil FX kokoelman lakat tuntuvat omaavan. Ehdottomasti kaunis kombo, sillä harvoin katselen kynsiäni neljää päivää yksivärisinä.

I'm wondering why these pictures won't do any justice to the mani that I'm currently wearing. I painted my nails last Thursday and I'm still wearing this same combo on my nails. I'm not a big fan of a mint green polish on its own so I had to add something over it. I decided to go with OPI Happy Anniversary! over Essie Mint Candy Apple and I really like this combo.

Now that we've had super hot summer weather for several days (Finland has had the hottest temperatures in Europe for the last couple days!) the mani has been sparkling under sunlight on daily bases. I spent my weekend mainly just relaxing on my parents' patio reading a good book, and it was just what I needed to be able to pull through the last two weeks of school. These two polishes together give a finish kind of what the Orly Foil fx collection has. I think GOSH Raindow over Mint Candy Apple would be a really nice combo too, just like other bloggers have done lately.
